We have some pictures of the actual conference and I posted the pictures the Spokane members took on their "off" time activities. YES, they paid for their own food, jazz music and Architecture River Cruise tickets. Wish we could have audio taped the tour guide explaining the wonderful buildings -- enjoy all you architecture buffs! The rest of you -- you had to be there to really appreciate the buildings.

The next quarterly JACL PNW District meeting will be held in White River at the Fort Dent Business Complex.

Highland ParkUMC will hold a Chicken Teriyaki Dinner fundraiser on Saurday, October 16th, from 11 - 6 p.m. Tickets are $12 each and the dinners will be boxed so you may take them home or stay and eat at the church. Green tea will be served if you stay and eat your bento there. They will also sell senbei and sushi. The money is not for a particular project, as in years past, but to help meet their budget. Call 535-2687 for tickets. Location is 611 S. Garfield.
